TRUMP ADMINISTRATION IS THE MOST CORRUPT GOVERNMENT INSTITUTION IN THE UNITED STATES, AMERICANS BELIEVE
BY NINA BURLEIGH ON 12/12/17 AT 6:10 AM
In the year since Donald Trump was elected president on a promise to drain the swamp of Washingtons corruption, Americans have become more, not less, convinced that Washington is corrupt, and that the White House is the most corrupt institution in U.S. government.
A new public opinion poll conducted over the last two months found that Americans dont believe that Trump is cleaning up the government. In fact, the opposite is true: 58 percent of people surveyed say the level of corruption has risen in the past 12 months, up from 34 percent who said the same in January 2016.
And more Americans put the blame at the top: 44 percent now believe that most or all of the officials in the Office of the President are corrupt up from 36 percent last year, and worse than perceptions of Congress (38 percent of Americans believe Congress is the most corrupt institution).
Americans also suspect big business: 32 percent of those polled believe business executives are corrupt.

(9,426 posts)knew this, long before the US caught up to what the gop is doing. The Russians would never have been able to do all the damage they have done to this government, IF we had honest LEADERS at the helm. The gop motto is "Show us the $$$" Donate to the gop, and anything goes, to HELL with voters.

(14,576 posts)Trump is the most corrupt president we've ever had, because he doesn't even try to hide it. He just flaunts it for all to see, and then flips us all off.
As to big business?
Oh, yes. Billionaire freaks and big corporations are forever the enemy of the welfare of the people.

(6,556 posts)The real clincher came when Justice Roberts, from the Supreme Court bench, declared that corporations were individuals with all of the rights of the people of the United States. Excuse me? I didn't and still don't accept this. When a corporation receives the same protections as individual citizens, we are in deep trouble. And in the era of tRump, that intensifies to unprecedented levels. SAD.
