Trump: Dems moving on from Russia to 'false accusations' of sexual harassment

Source: The Hill

BY KYLE BALLUCK - 12/12/17 07:18 AM EST

President Trump in an early morning tweet on Tuesday said Democrats are moving on from the Russia investigation to "false accusations" of sexual harassment.

Sexual harassment allegations against Trump are back in the spotlight after three of his accusers, Jessica Leeds, Samantha Holvey and Rachel Crooks, during a press conference on Monday recounted alleged harassment by Trump and demanded that Congress open an investigation. Their allegations were first shared during the 206 presidential campaign.

In a briefing Monday after the Trump accusers' press conference, press secretary Sarah Sanders again defended the president.

“The president has denied any of these allegations,” Sanders told reporters. “And again, the American people knew this and voted for the president and we feel like we are ready to move forward.”

on this fake president. He is a disaster, a total failure as a president and as a MAN. How does Hope Hicks tolerate being close enough to him to steam his suit while he wears it?? Huckerbee Sanders was trained to lie very well by her fat daddy. Snce Mike Huckerbee could not make it into the WH himself, he is basking in the "glory" of having one of his offspring in there, lying her arse off for the fake president. She does not appear to be too happy in the job, does she? Constantly scowling.

He uses it for everything and it's battered, tired, worn, and failing at this point.

Starr found nothing on Bill Clinton, then moved into his personal life and managed to catch him in a minor lie (which jeopardized no governmental function nor national security) which he was impeached for. It rolled off his back because Bill Clinton is fundamentally a good guy. They'd love to punish HRC because they couldn't and can't touch Bill.

45 should only wish he could politely resign amid allegations and shrug off an insubstantial wrongdoing.

How bout Summer Zervos, he worked with her on the Apprecntice? With one woman, his statement is already proven to be a a lie.

Of course, his assmouth or tiny fingers were moving so he's automatically, 100%, lying.

It seems obvious now that Franken was unfairly railroaded by his own party's top brass in order to set themselves up as the moral arbitrators for this next step in their plan. This new wave of bringing up again accusations against Trump. I don't think they knew it was coming, but once this "its Al Franken's turn" conspiracy was well on its way, they thought...Wouldn't that show them all that we are so much more morally superior that we will even sacrifice one of our most popular and effective Senators. So that when we begin this second wave of attack on Trump in regards to his past sexual misdeeds, they will not be able to say..."What about Franken?"

They could have done it all so much better without losing Al. Like others have suggested, they could have come out with a strong statement on not putting up with any kind of sexual misconduct and said Al would be going through a thorough ethics investigation. Conyers could have been made the example. It does make one wonder what other factors were at play. Envy of his attention? A sense that the establishment core were afraid of his populism and thus out of their control? I guess we'll never know.
