US woman charged for stealing 'OK to be white' speech

Police have charged a woman with attempting to steal a conservative commentator's notes during his speech at the University of Connecticut.
Video shows Catherine Gregory, 33, removing notes from the podium where Lucian Wintrich spoke during an event entitled, "It's OK to be White".
Mr Wintrich was arrested after chasing the woman and grabbing her, but the charges have since been dropped.
Her lawyer says she was protesting the speaker's "hateful, racist statements".

with people calling him a "journalist". 
Apparently they believe that "journalist" is a word they can throw around like it's an honorary title. They think anyone can be a "journalist" just by someone else bestowing that honorific upon them, when nothing could be further from the truth. Real journalists actually attain that title by getting a College Degree in Journalism, and then starting at jobs where they can work their way up the ladder.
Wintrich has a BA in Political Science, not Journalism. The two are not interchangeable. He certainly hasn't "climbed any ladder" either. Stepping on the first rung and being catapulted to the top rung of the journalistic ladder - simply because of his politically/socially charged sexual orientation - is hardly "learning the ropes".
Sorry, this is one of those subjects that burn my ass. No wonder the main stream media is nothing more than entertainment these days, and not bastion of truth and integrity it once was with people like Murrow, Graham, Cronkite, Amanpour etc.

Lucian Wintrich is also the personal fuck-toy for stinking fuckbag Jim Hoft (aka. "Stupidest Man on the Internet" of the conservative shitbasket known as Gateway Pundit.
Hoft, who has been spouting virulent anti-gay rhetoric for many years and openly associating with homophobic hate groups, came out of the closet after the "Pulse" nightclub massacre. I don't know how long he has "known" - in the Biblical sense - Wintrich.
