(8,200 posts)Her parents should be arrested for child endangerment and the kid put in protective custody by children services. But that will never happen in that racist immoral rat hole they call a state. Lincoln made a horrible mistake when he wasted decent men on a hopeless mission. The South remains hopelessly beyond redemption. Anyone who gives a damn about basic morality should have left long ago. It is a hopeless situation. Anyone who claims to be Republican has admitted they not only endorse the wretched scum of the earth they worship them. Sorry, I can't call any Republican a true friend. At best they are just acquaintances that circumstances require me to even acknowledge them.

And for those low-info voters who aren't pedos, the message is: "We're so sure Moore is a good Christian (and that the Dems are smearing him!) that we have no worries about sending a 12-yr-old girl to interview him."

(11,588 posts)"See--Roy Moore left her alone because he is a good guy!" Obviously, he will be on his best behavior because he wants to win the election.
I was making the point that there is no morality, there are no ethics, or real values at all within the Republican Party.

Roy Moore's idea.
On edit: even a Roy Moore centered joke on pedophilia is not funny and out of bounds. Pedophilia is just not funny. Sorry.

(45,451 posts)Look, I get it that they are trying to prove something in their perverted RW logic. But Moore is probably long past the days of creeping on little girls. It was wrong back when he did it. And the fact that he is likely not to do it now doesn't change that fact.

(231 posts)bet Trump wouldn't send his own grandchildren to do that but wouldn't think twice about someone else's child! If I were that girl's parents I wouldn't let Roy Moore near her

(50,559 posts)...a more reasonable person would ask two questions of this incident:
Q1: Have grownups stopped interviewing Moore?
and
Q2: Exactly what's the point? Are we supposed to believe that a 12-year-old reading a bunch of prewritten softball questions constitutes an interview? If Doug Jones would have done this, the hard right would be apoplectic.
