Former FBI director James Comey offered a cryptic message on social media Saturday, saying the truth cannot be long hidden shortly after President Trump said he fired former national security adviser Michael Flynn for lying to the FBI.
Beautiful Long Island Sound from Westport, CT, Comey wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. To paraphrase the Buddha Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun; the moon; and the truth.
The former FBI director, who Trump fired from his post in May, has taken to social media in recent days in what has been viewed as an apparent reaction to developments in special counsel Robert Muellers probe into Russian election interference.
After Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian officials, Comey posted a Bible verse about justice on Twitter and Instagram.

(5,937 posts)The love him, hate him, and love him routine only serves Comey. Thinking that he can make right again by hanging Trump out to dry is foolish and unfounded in my opinion.

(153,164 posts)Comey reminds me of Sandra Day O'Connor - at the end of the day, she will be remembered for helping install a fucking NITWIT into the White House. COMEY WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR THE SAME.

(129,053 posts)I remember the first time I noticed him in a movie was when I saw him in "Return of the Pink Panther" back in 1975. Ended up going back to see that movie 2 more times in the theater.
That whole scene -
