At first, Sean Spicers exit from the White House followed the blueprint for famous administration officials.
Step one: Hire mega lawyer/agent Bob Barnett, who has represented presidents and their operatives in lucrative deals, from Barack Obama and David Axelrod to George W. Bush and Karl Rove. Step two: Make the rounds at various TV networks, where a contributor job can yield reliable, high-profile income.
But step three landing the plush TV deal never happened.
Now Spicer and Barnett, who seeks to uphold a reputation as the preeminent talent broker in Washington, are both distancing themselves from one another, according to sources familiar with the matter. Around Washington, Barnett has downplayed his relationship with Spicer, sources said. Spicer, for his part, is leaning on another agent who has represented Trump world talent like Ivanka Trump, Corey Lewandowski, and David Bossie Mel Berger from agency giant WME.

MSNBC doesn't want him, Fox News has no use for him. It's too late to go back and work for the RNC. All of his bridges are burned, so he might as well write a book.

(6,916 posts)Spicer deserves nothing. His actions and lies harmed us all. They harmed America's standing abroad and the lies hurt middle-class people and harmed our Democracy.
Spicer deserves blame and opprobrium. Liars like him deserve to live in poverty, to know what it's like to fear your car breaking down because you probably can't pay to fix it.
All right-minded Americans should protest spicer wherever he pops up his hate-spreading head.

he failed his TV auditions (as filmed in the White House)!
Having a VERY difficult time feeling an ounce of sympathy for him. He chose to do what he did and now has the opportunity to reap the rewards (and aren't they pouring in!).

I honestly don't see what he has to offer any employer for any position anywhere. I wouldn't hire him as a volunteer to sort rags at a dump site. He literally can't be trusted to do anything.
