White House: Difference between Franken, Trump allegations is Franken 'admitted wrongdoing'

Source: The Hill

BY AVERY ANAPOL - 11/17/17 03:54 PM EST

The White House said Friday that one key difference between the allegations of sexual misconduct against Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and those against President Trump is that the senator “has admitted wrongdoing.”

At Friday’s press briefing, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded to a question about whether it would be “fair” to investigate the claims against the president. She said that the allegations against Trump were already covered “extensively” during the campaign.

“We addressed that then,” Sanders said. “The American people I think spoke loud and clear when they elected this president.”

“Senator Franken has admitted wrongdoing and the president hasn’t; I think that’s a very clear distinction,” she continued.

Franken's behaved like an adult, and hasn't sicced attack dogs and lawyers on anybody who claims a past transgression.

One of them behaves presidential.

It's not Trump.

Franken apologized but said that he didn’t remember the encounter the same way Tweedon did.

That is not an admission of groping or sticking his tongue down her throat.

Nov 2017

DTs long history of abusive, disrespectful, and criminally predatory conduct + no history of standing up for women and their rights

Franken's long history of standing up for women (for example, helping to ensure Federal contractors can't force victims of sexual harassment and assault into arbitration) + no history of disrespectful conduct (much less abusive).

Difference so big any attempt to draw parallels between Franken's isolated lapse into offensive, frat-boy idiocy and DTs conduct and history are absurd.
