Bill Clinton: People who voted for Brexit are not fully aware of what they voted for

Source: yahoo

..........................

The former US President, who was being honoured by Dublin City University for his work on peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland, suggested that some Brexit voters may only just be realising the impact of the loss of access to the EU Customs.

Mimicking a Leave voter, he said: “I’m sorry we can’t stay together, we had a disagreement.

“Oh my God, I didn’t know I was going to lose that customs thing and all these economic benefits. Why didn’t anyone tell me that?”

Mr Clinton also warned that the Brexit vote was about people thinking differences are more important that what they have in common.

Because what was undone was not just a generation, but really, almost a century of attempts to keep Europe from being the self destructive drunk that starts a world war every so often. The assholes on either side of the channel will not want to heal things, and lo and behold, Germany gets to rule Europe, which means eventually, Russia will.

This sad painful process to disengage from the rest of Europe. While at the same time, in parallel, the sad slow realization with a majority of Britains, including many that were hoodwinked into voting against it, that it was a huge mistake and there is nothing they can do now to change their vote.

he looks good and can you imagine any living former puke president giving such a speech? The only possibility is George HW Bush but since he was such an agent of the CIA and its agenda, who knows?
