Trump promotes book by Sheriff David Clarke

Source: The Hill

BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY - 08/27/17 08:17 AM EDT

President Trump on Sunday promoted a book by Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke. The president said in an early morning tweet that he recommended the read.

"A great book by a great guy, highly recommended!" Trump tweeted, sharing a post from Clarke.

The book is titled "Cop Under Fire: Moving Beyond Hashtags of Race, Crime and Politics for a Better America." Clarke supported Trump during his presidential campaign. He has been a controversial figure and has in the past called Black Lives Matter a hate group.

The tweet comes as headlines are dominated by Hurricane Harvey, which made landfall in Texas as a category 4 storm.

Arpaio and Clarke both have deaths on their hands from how people are mistreated in their jails.

Or is the book less than two pages, with lots of pictures?

Since the book isn't about Trump, there's no way he had the attention span necessary.
