Bannon, backed by billionaire, prepares to go to war
Source: Axios
Steve Bannon's next moves will be all about the billionaire Mercer family. I'm told Bannon, who visited New York this week, met with Bob Mercer and together they will be a well-funded force on the outside.
Bannon has felt liberated since it became clear he was being pushed out, according to friends. He's told associates he has a "killing machine" in Breitbart News, and it's possible he returns to lead their editorial operation.
A source familiar with Breitbart's operations told me they would go "thermonuclear" against "globalists" that Bannon and his friends believe are ruining the Trump administration, and by extension, America.

The article goes on to say that Breitbart's Washington editor, Matt Boyle, will likely be attacking Bannon's enemies within the White House -- McMaster, Cohn, and Jared and Ivanka.

The thing she is wearing can hardly be called a dress...it is more like a sort of stretchable belt. Its covers either breasts or butt. No way to cover both with that half yard fabric.
On the bright side (if is there any - unless the tacky gold paint pot explosion), for once there some coherency : vulgar people in a vulgar decor.

Here, it is served sprinkled with salt or for the sweet version, with sugar. Sometimes caramelised.
I would like to try something else.
For starters, I always air-pop mine. Microwaving it gives it a funky, plasticky taste.
For flavor, I usually drizzle mine with olive oil and sprinkle Italian seasonings, grana padano, and hot pepper flakes (just a little!). Mix together with two wooden spoons for best results.
Buon appetito!

What's their end game, though? What do they want that they can't get with Trump in the WH and Republican majorities in the House and Senate? Do they think they'll have a better chance with Pence as President? (I do think so.)

(14,494 posts)I've felt since last year some irony in Trump's association with Bannon, considering Trump is quite the typical globalist himself. Not unusual though, for billionaires to put on a nationalistic face in public, but all the while operating their business interests in the invisible globalist plane.

(669 posts)The Mercers are billionaires that are the financial backing for Brietbart. However insidious, I think that they really wholesale believe in the tripe sold on Brietbart and want a more hard right Republican Party.
Bannon is just more useful to them because he worked at Goldman Sachs, and with this "insider knowledge," having previously served on the Security Council and having knowledge of back and forth fighting between Wall Street (that owns U.S. government) and the anti-globalist far right, he becomes useful in destroying the "kindler, gentler" Republican Party (if you can call it), and turning it into the Ayn Rand meets Adolf Hitler contingent that the Mercers likely want.
Just thinking out loud, here. Seems like they wanted insider knowledge of just how entrenched financial interests are in U.S. government, and they wanted to use subversive means (Trump and Bannon) to accomplish it.
