Trump advisers signal the knives are out for Bannon

Source: CNN

Two senior Trump advisers -- one inside the White House and another who recently departed -- signaled Sunday that the knives are out for Steve Bannon, President Donald Trump's controversial chief strategist.

The comments come as a source inside the White House tells CNN that White House chief of staff John Kelly has soured on Bannon, a political operative with deep ties to the 'alt-right' and the former head of the conservative news site Breitbart.

Bannon is seen as pursuing his own agenda, which does not fit mesh with the power structure Kelly is putting in place, the source added.

National security adviser H.R. McMaster was asked three times by NBC's Chuck Todd on Sunday whether he can work with Bannon in the White House. McMaster dodged the question each time and eventually left it an open question as to whether Bannon is motived by advancing the President's agenda.

Trump would be Julius Ceasared on the golf course by his own advisors if he even suggested such a thing.

I'm not buying it. Bannon and Trump are both in the WH for as long as they want to be.

There will just be another deplorable to take his place until this entire administration (Pence, Ryan, and McConnell included) is expunged.

Ryan and McConnell are not part of the administration, and can't be expunged in the same manner that a president is impeached and removed from office. They are he majority leaders of the two houses of Congress, which are supposed to be part of our system of checks and balances, not rubber stamps for any loony tunes notions that might emanate from an unbalanced occupant of the White House.

We're six months in to this administration and it's falling apart in spectacular fashion. We're experiencing why Trump is so able to run a business into the ground like no one else.

It's natural that such a stance would not sit well with WH staff who care more about the country than some right-wing's loon's agenda--if any such staff remain in the White House, that is.

The "alt-right" contingent is fully embedded in Trump's presidency and a large part of what got him elected in the first place. It expanded during his campaign. Its goal was to take over the already dysfunctional and crazy Republican party, and it essentially has.

The horse is out of the barn, toothpaste out of the tube, genie out of the bottle.

If Bannon is ousted... Does he go back to Breitbart?

Trump had to tell Breitbart to knock off the propaganda against Jewish Jared.

Bannon (a lover spurned) might not be nice anymore.

From Wikipedia:

"It has been also reported that the Trump administration retroactively granted Bannon a blanket exemption from federal ethics rules that would allow him to communicate with editors at Breitbart News,[123] which according to former Breitbart consultant Kurt Bardella would be proof of the administration's intent to allow him to continue being "the de facto editorial director of Breitbart."

So the white nationalists are well entrenched in the White House, and it's highly doubtful Bannon will be be shown the door.

Remember in the campaign, tRump Jr. was sent to ask Kasich if he would like to be The most powerful VP in history? He would essentially run the WH. Kasich was stunned, asking what exactly tRump would be doing while Kasich was pretending to be president Jr. smirked and replied "He will be making America great again" Donnie Two Scoops did not want the job, just the adoration, and prestige. He wanted to golf, travel free to his resorts and do NOTHING.
