Sally Yates: Justice system 'may be broken beyond recognition' under Trump

Source: The Hill

Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates is warning that the U.S. "justice system may be broken beyond recognition" during the Trump administration.

“The president is attempting to dismantle the rule of law, destroy the time-honored independence of the Justice Department, and undermine the career men and women who are devoted to seeking justice day in and day out, regardless of which political party is in power,” Yates said in a New York Times op-ed Friday.

“If we are not careful, when we wake up from the Trump presidency, our justice system may be broken beyond recognition.”

Yates said that while the country is transfixed by President Trump's criticism of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, there is "something more insidious happening."

I've even looked up nasty words in the English - Russian translator to call them.

If its a bot, then I guess it won't do any good, but what it does is if it really is a Russian troll, they at least know we are on to them
And if its some dumb deplorable, they get incensed to be mistaken for a fer'ner.

with radical far right crackpot extremist judges, courtesy of candidate lists from the Heriturd Fuckdation/Fuckderalist Society. We will be plagued with these tools for decades. Unsurprisingly, radical (fake) Xtian religiosity goes hand in hand with corporate-friendly attitudes. And of course all of us peasants will suffer from their rulings along with the Deplorables who won't even know why their lives are getting worse. Jesus my ass.

IT is heartbreaking that this country is being torn in different directions, disassembled and the soul attacked. Yet I know with every fiber of my being that the country will be stronger decades from now. It will take sacrifice likely as many have never known to now. Yet just as those who came before us, we will fight until equalized playing field prevails. Racism, misogyny, greed are UNAmerican - they have no place in our society.

a matter of ‘may be’ – the judicial system will be irreparably damaged by Trump, the consequence of his judicial appointments, to the Supreme Court in particular.
