President Donald Trump lashed out at the news media on Twitter Sunday morning, saying reporters are “distorting democracy” by using anonymous sources. “With all of its phony unnamed sources & highly slanted & even fraudulent reporting, #Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY in our country!” Trump tweeted. Officials in Trump’s administration often request anonymity when speaking with reporters. In an earlier tweet, he said his son, Donald Trump Jr., is being “scorned” for his meeting with Russians while Hillary Clinton “illegally (got) the questions to the Debate & (deleted) 33,000 emails.”

President Donald Trump kicked off his weekly Sunday morning Twitter frenzy by raging about Hillary Clinton and the “fake news” and defending his son, Donald Trump Jr.

While Trump was mostly silent on Saturday following attending a women’s golf tournament at his New Jersey golf course, Sunday morning he was back to his usual antics, complaining about how the media covers him and talking about Clinton again.

“Hillary Clinton can illegally get the questions to the Debate & delete 33,000 emails but my son Don is being scorned by the Fake News Media?” he wrote to begin the morning.

And then he was off.
