The director of New Jerseys division of elections said Wednesday that the state would provide only publicly available data or data that adheres to the appropriate legal process for information requests to President Donald Trumps shady election integrity commission.
To date, no information has been released nor will any future information be released that is not publicly available or does not follow the appropriate legal process for information requests, Division of Elections Director Robert Giles said in a statement, according to NJTV News Shoshannah Buxbaum:

The commission recently sent requests to all 50 states for voters personal information, including the last four digits of their Social Security numbers and data related to potential criminal history, military status and overseas citizen status.
A number of states have refused the request outright. Many, including the home states of the commissions chair and vice chair, Vice President Mike Pence and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, have said that state law prevents them from providing certain data, including partial social security numbers.

(2,419 posts)with the request for non-public data. You know I'm no supporter of Christie, but public data is public data. Anybody can get that information through appropriate steps now. The state will not release the detailed information requested by Trump's "desperate search for the illegal voters that made him lose the popular vote" commission. Read below:
New Jersey will not share any voter information with President Donald Trump's voting commission that is not already public, a state election official said Wednesday, making it one of the last states to refuse a request for detailed records.
"To date, no information has been released nor will any future information be released that is not publicly available or does not follow the appropriate legal process for information requests," Robert Giles, director of the New Jersey Division of Elections, said in a statement.
Before Giles' announcement Wednesday, CNN reported that 44 states and the District of Columbia have refused to provide at least some of the voter-roll data requested in a letter from the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity. The letter from Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who serves as vice chair of the commission, asked all 50 states for such information as voters' political affiliation, criminal history, military status and the last four digits of their Social Security numbers "if publicly available under the laws of your state."
