'March for Truth' protesters demand independent investigation into Trump's possible Russia ties

Marchers took to the streets across the country today, calling for an independent commission to investigate the White House's alleged ties to Russia and demanding that Congress force President Trump to release his tax returns. Organizers said "March for Truth" events were planned in more than 135 cities, including New York, Washington, Portland, Oregon, and London.

"People have to understand that this is a president who not only is trying to lead a coverup of his own Russia ties, but he has a problem with the truth in general," Andrea Chalupa, an organizer with the March for Truth, told ABC News. "So we're here standing up for the truth."

2. I'm surprised someone hasn't just created a tax return for Trump yet.

Just make the damn thing up indicating he owes gazillions to Russia and Putin. Maybe spread it out among some other oligarchs and shady institutions 'cause, why not?

Small chance, if they did a credible job, he'd seriously consider releasing the real one 'cause it would be an improvement.

4. Just got back from the march in San Diego. First time I ever encountered pro-tRumpers.

This was my 6th March and it was a success and a good way to start Resistance Summer. I have never seen the opposition at any of the other marches I've participated in. They ARE starting to do this around the country now. I had read and heard this was happening so we were prepared. They taunted us a little but we were peaceful and have the support of the majority of San Diegans.

Media saying approximately 2000 which sounds right. It was peaceful but boisterous and energized!
