Norton calls on FBI to investigate fake fliers targeting immigrants in District

The District’s representative to Congress called on the FBI on Friday to investigate fake fliers purporting to be from Immigration and Customs Enforcement that were found in the city and warned against supporting those who are in the country illegally.

Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D), the city’s nonvoting representative, wrote to the FBI director that she believes two laws were broken — one that prohibits pretending to be a federal law enforcement officer, and another that makes it illegal to forge the seal of a federal agency.
