Warren rips Trump in commencement speech: No one is above the law

Source: The Hill

BY JORDAIN CARNEY - 05/12/17 06:49 PM EDT

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) took multiple swipes at the Trump administration during a commencement address Friday, days after President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.

Warren pivoted to Trump during a speech at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, offering suggestions for specific causes graduates could get more involved in.

"I'm trying to keep this apolitical but I can't help myself ... the principle that no one, no one in this country is above the law and we need a Justice Department, not an obstruction of justice department," Warren said.

Democrats have honed in on Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein — both of whom Warren opposed — in the wake of Comey's firing this week.

What a pitiful excuse for an American our "Attorney General" is.

I am still in utter disbelief that his appointment was confirmed, in the face of his blatantly racist activities of the past.

How is it that these so called "elected" officials in congress get the absolute word on the appointment of such important positions, without listening to the citizens who put them in their seats of power?

It boggles my mind.

Whatever happened to "Of the people, by the people, for the people?"

FOR THE PEOPLE ASSHOLES! Get it?

Not "For your Bank Account."

Who the fuck wants that God Damned Keebler elf looking racist MF dictating how our law enforcement should be?

His stance on on everything is fucked up.

He is living in SIN! Great example of Christian principals......

Sorry, had a few beers, and I am wound up.....

Cheers!
