Trump's Comey fight spooks Capitol Hill

Source: Axios

There is widespread concern among Congressional leadership about Trump's frame of mind in the wake of the Comey firing.

Senior Senate aide: "It has to stop ... never seen anything like this in my entire career."

House leadership source: "Lot of anxiety, don't know next shoe to drop."

our freedoms, resources, income streams

If our elections were hacked and stolen, can we have a class action

And what's amazing about it is that the sellers aren't even TRYING to do so with any strategy of deception. It's just :" Here! We're disbanding / dissolving this and there's nothing you can do about it!"

If anyone ever foolishly thought there was no need for the "check and balance" aspect of a multi-party system, they have to have descended into a coma by now! And forget about bad calls by Refs or screwing with the game hardware - it's the inept coaches that have brought us to the point of sitting out the game.

Trump has said he will not tell us what is going on. Now he tells us nobody around him will ever know for sure!

To what purpose? Yesterday, someone called him "The Accidental Dictator."

Orwell wrote: "Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past."

Trump controls the present and tells us what just happened! Reality is what he says it is.

At least, that appears to be the control we are allowing him to have over us.

We'd be talking about all the jobs he's created, how much better our healthcare system is, how streamlined our tax code is.

We can't talk about any of that, because 45 is a grifter and the American people were conned. Our nation is adrift.

probably checking their portfolios and as long as things look OK, tRump is OK by them. I think some in congress could give a F about America as long as they and their cronies are doing well. If they did care, this country would not be in the perpetual sh** it is, and all the people for the most part would be happy.

Drop....
Because one or more probably has their name on it..

Yes the orange buffoon in the oval office
is dangerous, unhinged, compromised, ignorant, egotistical, the list goes on...

But FFS...

He did not create the
current state of crisis single-handedly...

Who confirmed his cabinet secretaries?

Who confirmed the AG / DAG ?

Who has refused to call for an independent prosecutor?

Who has hindered all efforts to investigate Russia related issues?

Who obstructed the SCOTUS confirmation process for a year?

Who confirmed the latest SCJustice ?

Who chose not to hold 45 accountable to eliminating conflicts of interest?

Who has never questioned the authorization of security clearances for any of these people associated with 45?

And
Who is it that could bring the current crisis to a screeching halt with a simple 'Aye' ?

Fuck 45...
he's just distracting attention from the actual infiltration maneuvers taking place
over on capitol hill....

It all boils down to this:
its the KGOP House /Senate that has successfully carried out this coup....

and what he might do or say next and to whom.

The article doesn't indicate from which party the anonymous angst driven hand-wringers are from, but my guess is that they're likely Dems or Independents. The rethuglicons are too preoccupied in creating tax boondoggles for all their Billionaire Boys Club bros to pay any attention, let alone care, what the orange shitgibbon is up to. But they OUGHTA care, because their own base of power could be wrested right out of their hands because of his apeshit behavior. Frankly, if I were McConnell and Ryan I'd be formulating a strategy to get this asshole to resign and let Pence continue things. Mind you, I don't like that any better that the craptastic shitgibbon in charge of the nuclear football, but it just seems to me that that would make a lot more sense to these guys than letting this creature that should be sharing a pen at the Bronx Zoo with his smarter family members continue to run amok. The longer they let this asshat loose to spew his shit and exert his thumbs, the worse off things are going to be for this so-called party.

This guy is so unhinged and unstable that there is no limit to what kind of shit he can get into, and I can think of any number of scenarios in which the entire agenda they rethuglicons have on their wish list will have to be scuttled in lieu of some boondoggle war or other fiasco and their party will be blamed. I had feared the prospect that they could phony-up some kind of false flag op to start combat, but I'm growing more and more uncertain by the day that this gang that can't even find its guns let alone shoot straight could muster up enough unscrambled brain cells to plan such a thing any longer. My gawd. It's like have a dotty Uncle Larry in the house.

Who knows, maybe the rethuglicons believe we'll all be just shaking our fucking heads and murmuring , "I'll tell ya. That crazy Uncle Larry..."

Right now they think they can still appease their constituents and win the next election. People need to turn out round the clock to protest them, not just at town halls. They need to stalk them. Stand outside their homes and offices, restaurants where they are eating. It has to be non stop. Maybe then they might take it seriously. And everyone needs to call every day to complain about their non action.

from Trump loyalists. As long as racist/sexist/bigots make up over over 50% of the GOP primary vote, they are terrified to act. And it's not just that they are afraid of losing a primary election, these people probably genuinely scare them physically.

They figure after that, they can suppress everybody else's vote and count on the magic (R) to protect them.

We in the 60% (those not in the 40% who still approve of him) think he's terrifying and have been shouting the words "never seen anything like this" beginning with his refusal to reveal his taxes.

Or how about the travel ban?

How about appointing Jared to run the country? Weren't you concerned then?
