Source: New York Times

WASHINGTON Days before he was fired, James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director, asked the Justice Department for a significant increase in money and personnel for the bureaus investigation into Russias interference in the presidential election, according to three officials with knowledge of his request.

Mr. Comey asked for the resources during a meeting last week with Rod J. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general who wrote the Justice Departments memo that was used to justify the firing of the F.B.I. director this week.

Mr. Comey then briefed members of Congress on the meeting in recent days.

During and after the campaign the king praised Comey's courage and flattered him up and down all over the place. That was a signal to back off, let it go, consider himself a respected member of the king's imperial army. What does Comey do? He continues investigating the king and his army! Wrong answer! You don't turn on the king after all that praise! He even goes on to ask for more resources to expand and delve deeper! That's the last straw! You're fired, Jimmy! Bad Jimmy! Sad.

We can solve every problem by cutting spending and taxes, and stop wasting tax dollars on frivolous liberal nonsense like investigations
