Fox Host Tells Colleague She Is Giving America An Erection

Source: Media Matters

BOB BECKEL (CO-HOST): Instead of cutting every fact I've got and just saying, and laughing it off, because it's -- you know, it's four to one as it is. You might want to take some facts you don't like, because a lot of them have do with --

ERIC BOLLING (CO-HOST): Alright, give us one. Just give us one.

KIMBERLY GUILFOYLE (CO-HOST): All right, look at this -- waah, waah, crybaby. Call your camp counselor.

DANA PERINO (CO-HOST): Poor Bob, no.

BECKEL: Call your dressmaker, I mean --

GUILFOYLE: And give him a raise, that's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying.

GREG GUTFELD (CO-HOST): You are giving America a raise.

GUILFOYLE: Oh my god.

... I had no idea who or what Kimberly Guilfoyle was. I did a search and checked the images of her. I thought they had accidently gotten pictures of Caitlyn Jenner mixed in with the Kimberly Guilfoyle pictures. Maybe it was my ATI graphics card?

Caitlyn Jenner. Or maybe Caitlyn Jenner is trying to achieve the Kimberly Guilfoyle look. I'm guessing that Caitlyn watches Fox.

speaking the simple truth. There isn't an extra inch of fabric on that dress that isn't required by the FCC, and she ordered it, went in for fitting, and wears it specifically for prurient purpose.

Women are hired and displayed on Fox News specifically to "give America a raise." And Fox's Alpha Thighs all understand their role perfectly well going in.

female talents' decision to wear a dress like that.

This is an important thread.

It draws a spotlight to the misogyny that underpins FOX's existence.

The misogyny of the Republican party and the owners of FOX and the people working at FOX>

The women working there shouldn't have to put with sexual harassment. But ultimately, FOX is all about sexual harassment. It's part of their business plan and world view.

policy was that the women would deliver the news in bikinis they would have no shortage of applicants. Do you believe any of those women didn't at one point think, hmmm, my body's definitely good enough to apply to Fox?

Harassment is a real and damaging kind of attack, and claiming stuff like this is harassment just HELPS the right destroy the very concept. Powerful words like harassment can become ineffectual through misuse, even to the point of being seen as jokes and slurs against the people who try to invoke them.

It was more of a Freudian slip than 'harassing".

WTF is she even wearing a sleazy hot orange/red revealing dress that seems more suited to going out clubbing in the evening, on a daytime talk show? It is definitely to 'get a raise' out of their sexist deplorable audience. And she is fully aware of how she is being used.

I noticed it and that it was "little" enough to draw comment from a man very used to performing with skimpily dressed alpha thigh women.

Women should not be required to show off their bodies as a part of their job. These are professional jobs, FFS, not like working at Hooters.

Seriously, all of those bitter old male viewers...this is one of their reasons for living.
