Pence tells North Korea not to test American resolve, offering Syria and Afghanistan strikes as examples

By Anna Fifield April 17 at 8:35 AM

TOKYO — Vice President Pence warned North Korea Monday that it could be in for the same treatment as Syria and Afghanistan — both of which the Trump administration has bombed this month — if it continues with its nuclear program.

The stark warning, delivered in Seoul after the vice president went to the military demarcation that separates the two Koreas, could revive speculation that the White House is considering military action against the regime in Pyongyang.

Pence said that the Trump administration wanted to convince North Korea to abandon its nuclear weapons “through peaceful means” but repeated the administration’s warning that “all options are on the table.”

Pence arrived in South Korea just hours after North Korea launched its latest ballistic missile — which exploded within a few seconds — and amid a weekend of fanfare in North Korea, during which the regime showed off what appeared to be new missiles designed to reach the United States.

paranoid about the Western countries, and remember CHINA is their alley. You strike NK with a Missile and China will be very unhappy, to say the least.

He's just getting a bit impatient waiting for Jesus to come back and take him and Mother to heaven. Where they can look down and watch the rest of the world burn while they're sitting on their tufty cloud in comfort and self-satisfaction because they're Besties with their Gawd and have a very Personal Relationship with Jesus.
Or maybe they're Beasties of Mammon. I think the latter is closer to the truth.

Pence may be a clever mammal in relation to the rest of the current crop of GOP "leadership", but he has no more wisdom than Drumpf, Ryan, or McConnell does when it comes to thinking past 1 + 1.

is permitted to intimidate and threaten its way through the world.

At least, that is how the neo-cons see it.

All US military officers should be thinking about the circumstances
in which their oath will require them to disobey illegal orders.

A presidential administration that acts as if it is the ONLY branch of
government when it come to issues of war and peace, and which is led
by unstable individuals . .

is really very dangerous.

Trying to tell Kim Jung Crazy we've have bigger "missiles" than him is a sure way to stop his Dear Lear crazy fits.

"Pence said that the Trump administration wanted to convince North Korea to abandon its nuclear weapons “through peaceful means” but repeated the administration’s warning that “all options are on the table.” "

Since we have to get China in the room with North Korea, I doubt they are interested because L'Orange is blasting everything he can. Pence saying protecting South Korea was being protect by the huge number of troops we have their is also for American protection. Actually it's from the treaty and we need a really good operating base in that region.

Were they hoping the test yesterday would be successful so they'd have an excuse to bomb NK? Are they pissed they can't start WWIII today? Why do they keep poking the bear? I don't care if it's a small bear, it's still a wild animal and close enough to do severe damage to our friends.
