Trump: I Feel 'Somewhat' Vindicated By Nunes' Surveillance Claim

Source: Talking Points Memo

By MATT SHUHAM Published MARCH 22, 2017, 3:47 PM EDT

President Donald Trump said that he felt “somewhat” vindicated in his unsubstantiated wiretapping claims after hearing from House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA), who claimed Wednesday that Trump and members of his transition team had been “incidentally” surveilled.

“Do you feel vindicated by Chairman Nunes?” a reporter asked the President. “I somewhat do. I must tell you, I somewhat do. I very much appreciated the fact that they found what they found, but I somewhat do," Trump responded.

Trump claimed without evidence on March 4 that President Obama had personally ordered wiretapping at Trump Tower. Trump also claimed that it was illegal. Recently, the White House has pointed to media reports about wiretapping and surveillance generally to support Trump's claim, though the reports have not substantiated the accusation.

Nunes claimed Wednesday that Trump and members of his transition team had been “incidentally” surveilled, meaning they were not the actual targets of the surveillance. He did not say that Obama ordered the surveillance, as Trump claimed, and he stated multiple times that the surveillance had been legal.

There is some there there. Unmasking criminals is not a crime. CIA may have much more intel than FBI.
If unmasking was done than there must have been some criminal behavior on someone's part.

Dude lies every day. He will continue to lie every day. But the fact that his communications were "collected" is very interesting. And he had to run right over there and tell him about it. Very strange. I think they may be very worried about this.

So they were so idiotic as to communicate with Russia and not realize that Russia is spied upon by the US. Then, he feels vindicated because his people were caught talking with Russia via taps on Russian communications. What does he think happened here that would any way be good news for him? HE has been caught.

of the committee to do their job anymore.

He also said Nunez hasn't made the extra-special super-secret documents available to him. He said Nunez chose to be with the White House, not the committee, but not decided yet.

to find out the answers ?

Well your "guy" Nunes, cannot make the determination of your guilt or innocence, that's not his job description, and what he did, is a violation of the law, he has now comprised a federal investigation, he in essence has broken the law.

Not only that dumb a** he is not judge, jury, and he has been running interference for you since the "convention" why?

Because he was part of the transition team correct :
