North Korea missile launch 'fails'

A North Korean missile launch has failed, sources tell South Korean and Japanese media.
Japan's Kyodo news agency reported North Korea had launched several missiles from an area on its east coast.
South Korea's defence ministry later confirmed the failed launch, saying it was conducting further analysis.

.....that can reach the continental USA.
Okinawa or Guam yes, maybe Hawaii.

They have had a few underground tests, that is far from having a survivable working warhead that is small enough to fit on top of a missile and can survive the launch, outer space and then heat of re-entry.

But they are certainly working on achieving that.
