White House Budget Director: GOP Health Care Bill Is 'Nice Framework'

Source: Talking Points Memo

By ESME CRIBB Published MARCH 12, 2017, 10:17 AM EDT

The director of the Office of Management and Budget said Sunday that House Republicans' bill to repeal Obamacare is "a really nice framework" but the White House is "open to talking about" modifications.

"The bill here is the framework, it's a really nice framework. We like it. It's a good repeal and replacement bill," Mick Mulvaney said on ABC's "This Week."

He said President Donald Trump "has looked at" the bill and thinks it will work.

"If the House thinks they can make it a little better, if the Senate thinks they can make it a little better, we are open to talking about those types of things," Mulvaney said. "If the House sees fit to make the bill better, they'd certainly have the support of the White House."

If House or Senate want to make the kill zone larger, they are perfectly willing to go along. What they won't do is actually make the bills coverage more comprehensive because they want to hurt us and lower our life expectancy because when we're sick or injured we can't be their subsistence wage serfs/slaves.

Still a turd by any measure. As far as Donald "Whoever thought health care could be so complicated" Trump "looking at it" and "thinking it will work", I seriously doubt that he ever looked at it, and even if he did he would be utterly incapable of grasping any details of it. Lazy Brain 45 prefers one-page briefing papers, heavy to pictures and light on the text.

why because he gets a government health insurance plan "already" payed for by the taxpayer, while he makes over $180,000 a year being a fascist republican with just a name plate on his door saying that he is the "republican OMB chief and he has already thrown everyone under the bus of his full plated of BS.

And to to top it all off while we the taxpayers pay his lucrative salary, we also have to pay for insurance on the "private" market place, not him though, he comes out on a talking head show and says this :

"The bill here is the framework, it's a really nice framework. We like it. It's a good repeal and replacement bill," Mick Mulvaney said on ABC's "This Week."

And the public gets a a Monty Python show from ABC and others today talking heads that goes just like this, while no one says this is BS:

6. Because it achieves their primary goal: repealing the taxes on the wealthy that support MEDICARE.

Their wet dream for many years was to repeal Medicare, but Obamacare instituted new taxes that put Medicare on a stronger footing, and removed their main argument.

Now they will be able soon to declare that Medicare is "failing" and a "disaster."
