Obama strongly denies Trump accusation that he wiretapped phones in Trump Tower

Source: ABC News

A spokesman for former President Obama issued a strong denial to President Trump's accusation that the former commander-in-chief wiretapped Trump Tower phones during the election campaign.

"A cardinal rule of the Obama administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice," Obama spokesman Kevin Lewis said in a statement Saturday. "As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false."

The former president was responding to a series of tweets Saturday morning by Trump claiming that the former president wiretapped phones in Trump Tower in New York City during the presidential campaign.

Trump offered no proof for his claims.

He's willfully ignorant, has a terrible personality, no moral compass, is selfish, mean, and all the rest. Worst president ever in modern times at least.

He's in his right mind, though. It's just that he's such a bad hombre who has lived in or near the underworld most of his life and long ago sold his soul.

Trump is paranoid and irrational. I think that he truly believes these falsehoods are real. If not, he is a terrible liar. Maybe he is a mix of both: pathological liar and paranoid. He is a danger to the Nation. We need to get to the root of the Russian Connection. We need Trump out of office. Impeach, Oppose, Resist.

tRump has NEVER sought the company of decent people. He goes for the underworld types, sleazy, unethical people. Decent people want nothing to do with him. The ones who did, got burned. So, naturally he thinks President Obama MUST be as low as him and his cohorts. WRONG. We need him out of office before the country goes bankrupt from his weekly flights to Florida, along with his entire family.

Isn't denying something the first thing someone who is guilty of something do??

I still doubt that Obama was born in the US. I mean if someone was trying to make a fake birth certificate wouldn't they try to make it look real? So the fact that it looks real means that it's a fake!

Just like the fact that Obama is denying something means that he is guilty!

(I hope I don't need this sarcastic thingies here)
