In an interview posted on Monday, Corey Lewandowski, the former campaign manager for President Donald Trump, defended the President's first month on office and blamed mishaps on his staff.
"The staff has probably not prepared him as well as they could have or should have as it related to some of those executive orders and the implementation and what that would mean," Lewandowski said on David Axelrod's podcast after arguing that Trump has begun fulfilling his campaign promises.
I think you have a president who wants to move very quickly, who has a grand vision of what he wants to accomplish and is leaving the details to the staff to implement," Lewandowski added.
He noted that many of Trump's senior staff in the White House have not worked in government before and predicted that the Trump administration will take a more "measured" approach going forward.

You are right, he doesn't want to learn the truth, he just uses what he wants from the media to generate white noise that covers up his actual dirt.

(12,448 posts)And whose fault is that? Dump/Bannon chose to fill the WH staff with incompetent amateurs. They don't get to blame the results on the staff they hired. Hell, most of his Cabinet has no government experience, so it's not surprising the staff doesn't.

they did the "thinking" for him, or more than likely, the orange menace had a cleam up crew follow him where ever he went to unfuck his fuck ups.
now that he's on the worlds stage and can't rule via fiat, he had a hard time comprehending why everyone doesn't think he's just the the best.
this is a classic example of someone born on homeplate and thinks they just hit a grand slam.
intellectually incurious, know it all, asshole.

I want you to repeat this line for everyone to show how stupid you really are, here goes:

Drumpf is the one who put the demented fascist duo of Miller and Bannon on his team. They are know-nothing racists and conspiracy theorists, with zero government experience, yet he put Bannon in the Principals Meeting.

(50,562 posts)We're talking Donald Trump, who is a Boss. And the Boss, you see, is always Right.
Most of us have worked for a boss that couldn't take responsibility for his mistakes. Trump's one of those bosses. Problem is, now his mistakes can't be covered up by greasing the palm of an inspector or changing a few words in an ad. Now his mistakes can, and already have, gotten people killed and damaged relations with our friends.
