Paul Ryan To Australia After Testy Trump Call: Don't Worry, We're Still Friends!

Source: Talking Points Memo

By LAUREN FOX Published FEBRUARY 2, 2017, 12:09 PM EDT

House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) told reporters Thursday that he values Australia as a U.S. allies after reports surfaced that President Donald Trump had a testy phone call with the Australian Prime Minister and hung up early.

"I don't think Australia should be worried about it's relationship with our new president or our country for that matter," Ryan said. "I know your country well, I've met with your leaders continuously over the last number of years."

Ryan added that Australia was a "very important, essential ally."

That is where Ryan stopped, however, because he said he typically doesn't respond to the "tweet of the hour."

Why would any care what is written in those "tweets of the hour"?

How important could they possibly be?

It's not like the demented fool behind these hourly rants has some kind of political power!!!

Paul Ryan is willing to remove healthcare from 20 million Americans. Since he is willing to do that to his own fellow citizens, you should consider what he would be willing to do to Australians.

Drumpf's staff and the GOP leadership are now running around daily "apologizing for" or re-interpreting (because by golly, we can't believe our lying ears) every nonsensical and insulting stream-of-consciousness utterance or tweet.

A few minutes before I posted the above, I got breaking banners that reported that Drumpf had now reversed himself on Israel and is now "warning" Bibi not to construct more settlements.
