Fired Acting AG Yates Concluded Trump's Order Meant to Intentionally Ban Muslims

Before she was fired Monday, Acting Attorney General Sally Q. Yates became convinced that President Donald Trumps executive immigration order was unlawfully biased against Muslims.
We have comments from the president about what this is supposed to do, Ms. Yates [link:http://nyti.ms/2kSYuPgsaid in a meeting] on Monday, according to The New York Times. The intent was clear from the face of it, she added.
Yates [link:http://wapo.st/2kQ4Kv7based her decision] in part on Trumps statements to the Christian Broadcasting Network, where he said that Christians were being persecuted in the Middle East and should be given priority to move to the United States.
