Trump warns senators looking to start World War III

Source: The Hill

President Donald Trump defended his executive order on immigration and refugee policy Sunday afternoon in two tweets, posted at around the same time the White House released a statement from the president.

The statement stressed the importance of keeping the country safe and denied that the order amounts to a Muslim ban. But the tweets were a more direct response to criticism from Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham, two outspoken Republicans.

“The joint statement of former presidential candidates John McCain & Lindsey Graham is wrong - they are sadly weak on immigration,” Trump said,

“The two ... Senators should focus their energies on ISIS, illegal immigration and border security instead of always looking to start World War III.”

No Democrat has yet SUPPORTED the ban - and only about 3 have not spoken - this means most spoke out very very quickly.

This was a terribly written order and he does not seem to understand that there just might be some merit in working with the career professional -- instead of Bannon and Miller. One problem for him is that he might have too much hubris to back down after the huge outrage this weekend.

I have lived through many Presidencies and while some were said to have wasted their "honeymoon", there was NOTHING like this with any President of my lifetime. He started with the lowest approval of any President and - even on Gallup - he has gone from 45 - 45 to 42 - 51 in approval rating. A move that quick any time would be note worthy.

those who don't have any idea what he and his cohorts are up to, as well as those on the defensive - once having decided that he was their candidate and Sec. Clinton was anathema, cast their votes for Trump and believe they must defend their choice.

He'll blame it on everyone else.

The fact that the checks and balances haven't kicked in is pretty telling. The GOP is quickly becoming the Party of Traitors.
