Probably the most musically talented rock band I think I ever saw.

Not the flashiest, not the most glitzy but solid and together. Few mistakes, even on drugs.

Here in Florida we saw them a lot in the 70's before they became famous. Most times for free. Dick Betts is from West Palm too.

Sad about Butch, I wonder if he was terminal or what?

They were the "house band" at the Warehouse here in New Orleans. Sunday after the show they would come to Audubon Park and play for free. So much talent and love for their audience.

It’s a common tale, his home was in foreclosure and the IRS owned his soul with a lien seeking to recover $500,000 in taxes for 2013 and 2014. Who was this man who was in such financial ruin that he could see no other option?

Some people could care less about such a paltry debt! Someone who owed $8 billion abt. 15 years ago did not care and as for the IRS, they seem not to care!

RIP Butch Truck!!!

He must have gotten bad advice from his accountant. The IRS wants their money, but they will work with you as long as you make an effort and work out a payment plan. They really don't want your house.
