Trump cabinet nominee Steven Mnuchin is also registered to vote in two states
Source: CNN
Donald Trump's nominee to head the Treasury department, Steven Mnuchin, is registered to vote in two states, a CNN KFile review of paperwork obtained through open records requests in New York and California show.
While it is illegal to cast ballots in multiple states, it is not illegal to be registered in two states at the same time. In a tweet Wednesday, the president called for an investigation into voter fraud, including whether citizens are registered to vote in two states.
"I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and even, those registered to vote who are dead (and many for a long time). Depending on results, we will strengthen up voting procedure," the president wrote in a pair of consecutive tweets.

(3,827 posts)Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he would request an investigation into voter fraud, including those registered to vote in two states. But the new presidents own daughter Tiffany Trump is registered to vote in both Pennsylvania and New York, Heat Street has learned.
There is nothing illegal about that, said Fred Voigt, the deputy election commissioner for Philadelphia. The illegality only occurs if one votes in two places, not if youre registered in both.

(183 posts)"The man behind crosscheck is Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, a Yale-educated former law professor. After 9/11, U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft tasked Kobach with creating a system to track foreign travelers. (It was later shut down over concerns about racial profiling.) He is best known as the author of Arizona's "Driving While Brown Law," which allowed cops to pull over drivers and ask for proof of their legal status. He co-wrote the ultraconservative 2016 RNC party platform, working in a recommendation that Crosscheck be adopted by every state in the Union. He's also the Trump adviser who came up with a proposal to force Mexico into paying for Trump's wall"

Even though he missed getting picked for the Head of Homeland Security, he's still in the running for an Administration post:
