Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) was forced at his Attorney General confirmation to clarify comments he made during the presidential campaign that grabbing someone by the pussy -- as Donald Trump described doing on a 2005 Access Hollywood tape -- did not qualify as sexual assault. Pressed by Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) on what he meant then, Sessions said "clearly" the behavior described would be sexual assault but the "the confusion about the question was a hypothetical question."
