WikiLeaks is considering creating an "online database" with the personal information of all verified Twitter users, according to a social media account linked to the group.

"We are thinking of making an online database with all 'verified' twitter accounts & their family/job/financial/housing relationships," the WikiLeaks Task Force account tweeted.

"We are looking for clear discrete (father/shareholding/party membership) variables that can be put into our AI software. Other suggestions?"

The Wikileaks proposal was met with instant derision on social media, with many blasting the group for wanting to disclose the personal information of hundreds of thousands of people.
