Scott Brown lags behind Elizabeth Warren in fundraising

Source: Boston Herald

U.S. Sen. Scott Brown raised $5 million in campaign campaign funds in the last three months, falling far short of his Democratic rival Elizabeth Warren, according to new numbers released by the Brown campaign.

Brown’s latest numbers show the Republican incumbent still has $15.5 million in his campaign coffers as of June 30, which is slightly more than Warren’s $13.5 million total.

But Warren continues to far outpace Brown in the race to raise cash.

Warren raised $8.6 million in the last quarter, for a total of more than $15 million in the first half of this year, compared to $8.4 million for Brown.

The Harvard law professor has raised more than $24 million since launching her campaign last year, easily the most of any Senate or House candidate in the nation.

I don't live in Mass, but I think Elizabeth Warren is our best hope to restore some sanity in our policies.

No ordinary person can really get elected these days. They need a big machine behind them.

in the polls. I don't know what my fellow Massachusettsers are thinking. I have said this from the start, the young, mainly college kids, will need to get out to vote in large numbers for Warren to pull this off. Sad, but true.
