Trump Could Make Helicopter Entrance

Source: Political Wire

President-elect Donald Trump said he might arrive to his inauguration by helicopter, according to the New York Times.

“The president-elect said he was paid a visit a day earlier by Mark Burnett, the executive producer of The Apprentice, the reality show that helped make the president-elect a household name. Mr. Trump told the crowd that Mr. Burnett proposed reinventing the inauguration with a helicopter taking off from New York City.”

& upon landing, someone drapes a "Mr. President" sash over his shoulder, as "There she is, Miss America" is played - only Ted Nugent sings it with the line "There he is, Mr. America", and Trump takes his walk, waving to the crowd, then he stops in front of a huge billboard of Ivanka Trump's jewelry line behind him?

President Camacho at least cared about his citizens. I mean, he sought and hired the smartest man in the world to try to solve their agricultural problems. This implied that he a) had some level of empathy, b) had some respect for science, even if he didn't understand it, and c) had a respect for the opinions of others. Trump has NONE of these. I would accept President Camacho in a heartbeat over the current nightmare we're facing.

I will not watch. I'll check in here as I do every day but honestly - I can barely even listen to my satellite progressive stations anymore because all they do is talk about him. I'm SICK over all of this and the more they talk about everything he does, the more he becomes a part of our every day lives. No thank you. I've pulled out my self-help cd's and I'm trying my very best to find the light in all of this darkness, or better yet - to be the light.

I've stopped watching cable news and am about to cancel my cable, I don't listen to my political radio shows, I don't read most of the internet sites that I was a regular at before. I am purchasing subscriptions to select magazines such as the Nation, etc.

My heart is broken and I have to find a way to get through this. We need President Obama - I need him. I need him to make me feel like there is something to find hope in, a path forward, something that will make me not fear for my life and the life of my children and grandchildren. He provided a feeling of security. I truly trusted him and believe that he is a walking and living Master. My hope is that this presidency was just a stepping stone in his soul's journey and that he will be there for us, perhaps in a larger scale, world wide, once he recovers from the horrendous 8 years that this wonderful man has endured from the very scum who not only tried to destroy him daily, but now want nothing but revenge from a man who did nothing but clean up the litter box of shit that they left us with in 2008. Well, they have it all now, bought and paid for. They own every bad decision they make - there is NO WAY TO BLAME THE DEMOCRATS ANYMORE, and we need to remind them of that daily. they bought it, if they break it, they own it.

oops - i just dropped back into anger. I'm trying to move through the stages of grief but it's a process you know... <smiling through my tears>.

My heart also goes out to Hillary, who IS our first woman president, elected by the people by a huge majority. This election was rigged and it was stolen, from her.

Peace and Happy Holidays to all,
Annette
