Mitt: What Koch ‘problem’?
Source: New York Post
Mitt Romney declared he was proud to have a Koch problem, as he attended a $50,000-a-head fund-raiser hosted by conservative billionaire David Koch.
A plane flew over the Hamptons with a banner from protestors reading, Mitt Romney has a Koch problem, as he stopped for three major fund-raisers Sunday first at the East Hampton home of billionaire Ronald Perelman, followed by events at the home of Clifford Sobel, the former US ambassador to Brazil, then for dinner at David and Julia Kochs home on Meadow Lane in Southampton.
Romney quipped to the crowd at Kochs event, I understand there is a plane out there saying Mitt Romney has a Koch problem. I dont look at it as a problem; I look at it as an asset.

(1,151 posts)I think willard believes he is in a contest to collect money. The dude is clueless. I think he is manufacturing as much hatred toward himself by people who are disarmed by his arrogance as he is stirring up hatred by the fools who think he is the new king of rushpubliscumbaggers.
His strategy is aimed at the wacko base and the zillionaires whom he covets. So he masquerades as a klanservative, while he insults normal people by being a jerk, a clueless arrogant jackass.
Republicans have always been greed driven hate filled ignorant sociopaths, hell GW wallowed in the mire of plutocratsoup, but he surrounded himself with nasty evil genius . I dont see any genius anywhere near willard.

(31,849 posts)Once the election is over the koch boys' contribution (output) is reduced to zero; but at the same time, they will seek to collect on their investment (maintenance cost).
So as romney's "business model" shows, assets are only to be used and jettison when the maintenance cost surpasses the output.
Shouldn't that give the koch boys pause?
