Pence says he's not offended by comments to him at Hamilton show

Source: Reuters

Vice President-elect Mike Pence said on Sunday he was not offended by pointed comments made to him by a cast member of Hamilton after he attended the hit Broadway show.

I wasnt offended, Pence said on Fox New Sunday, declining to ask for an apology as President Donald Trump had demanded. Pence acknowledged that many Americans were disappointed and anxious after Trumps Nov. 8 election victory, but he sought to reassure Americans that Trump would be a president for all Americans.

Pence: I Wasnt Offended by Hamilton Cast

Vice President-elect Mike Pence said on Sunday morning that he was not offended when a cast member of the broadway musical Hamilton addressed his presence after the show and asked him to work on behalf of all of us.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Pence said he would leave it to others to decide whether the venue was appropriate, and demurred when asked if he is owed an apology. President-elect Donald Trump, for his part, said the cast should apologize to Pence for their very rude treatment of him.

The cast and producers of Hamilton, which I hear is highly overrated, should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior, Trump tweeted earlier Sunday morning, following up on his criticisms of actor Brandon Victor Dixon for his post-show remarks.

Pence praised the musical and encouraged others to see it, telling host Chris Wallace that he enjoyed the show.

Because he hides his feelings. He's a passive aggressive. He wants to appear all holier than thou in public. But in private he'll scheme with the worst of the deplorables to get revenge.

Just like every other professional politician he knows the only reply to public dissent is to praise the first amendment. Only a fucking demented Narcissist would try to make people apologize for using their voice in the public arena.
