Those who see the 2016 cycle as a change election point specifically to right-right/wrong-track polls. As we discussed last week, its a deeply flawed metric, but many pundits continue to say theres a broad public appetite for radical change for proof, they point to the fact that most Americans consistently say the country is headed in the wrong direction. But sometimes, the wording of a question can produce unexpected results. Take this new CNN poll, for example.
Overall, 54% say things in the country today are going well, 46% badly. Thats a reversal from late July when 54% said things were going poorly and 46% said they were positive.
While right-track/wrong-track polling has been common for many years, this poll asked respondents, How well are things going in the country today very well, fairly well, pretty badly or very badly? A combined 54% majority said things are going very well or fairly well.

with Obama at historic high levels of approval at this point in a second term is a nightmare for those campaigning against 4 more years of Obama policies

(51,076 posts)then turn her loose. She has no more fucks to give even before she starts. I see her getting right in the CONs faces from day one and it will resonate with the majority of the American people cause we've seen the shit that this group of republiCONs have been doing these last 20 years plus

(51,076 posts)if I can get this right. If the 'CONs had been doing their actual jobs these last 7 1/2 years, rather than trying to destroy Obama, the Presidents numbers would be well over 100 now. If thats even possible that is
