Kaine: Trump 'swinging at every phantom of his own imagination because he knows he's losing'
Source: The Hill
Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) on Sunday slammed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for trying to blame others in the wake of recent allegations of sexual misconduct.
"He is swinging at every phantom of his own imagination because he knows hes losing," Kaine, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, said on ABC's "This Week."
Multiple women in the last week have come forward to accuse Trump of uninvited kissing or groping accusations the billionaire and his campaign have strongly and repeatedly denied.
Kaine denied that Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign had anything to do with the women making accusations against Trump. The Virginia senator said the women decided to come forward after Trump last weekend denied he ever did the things he talked about in a 2005 tape released earlier this month.

Kaine: Trump engaging in 'scare tactics' with rigged election claims
By Rebecca Savransky
Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) on Sunday slammed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for claiming the election is rigged.
"Donald Trump has kind of started to go wilder and wilder. I think after by all accounts losing the first two debates, he started to make wild claims, kind of scorched-Earth claims about the election being rigged," Kaine, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, said on ABC's "This Week."
"He shouldnt be engaging in those scare tactics."
Trump has been facing backlash after the release of a 2005 tape in which he talks about how he can grope and kiss women without their consent because of his celebrity status.

(50,986 posts)really at his best when he does this.
He "releases" the notion of phantoms, which no one can see save for one Donald Trump, who is then characterized as swinging at things nobody else sees.
Must be something of a crackpot to swing at things that aren't there, eh?
Nicely done, Senator Kaine, and go Democrats.

(11,519 posts)Obviously the goings-on associated with this current election come to mind as evidence that biased minds hinder our comprehension of reality.
The same also applies to scientific study and research - it's often impossible to reach the correct conclusion if we're unwilling to admit that our initial ideas are wrong.

(10,252 posts)suggest that you read the Dalai Lama's book, "Beyond Religion." HH the DL is himself a scientist. Personal friends with Martin Heidegger. Deeply interested in neuroscience, psychology, astrophysics, cosmology. Plus, well, he's the 14th Dalai Lama. lol
You can good used copies of his books off Amazon for a few pennies plus shipping.
