As Clinton Emails Continue to Be Released, Trump Confidante Roger Stone Admits Ties to Wikileaks

Source: Mediaite

As emails from within the Clinton campaign continue to be released, Trump ally and infamous “dirty trickster” Roger Stone admitted that he has back-channel ties to Wikileaks’ founder Julian Assange, the organization that is disclosing the emails.

“I do have a back-channel communication with Assange, because we have a good mutual friend,” Stone told CBS4 in Miami Wednesday evening. “That friend travels back and forth from the United States to London and we talk. I had dinner with him last Monday.” Stone clarified that he had never personally met Assange.

Wikileaks is currently releasing emails hacked from the personal account of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and previously released emails hacked from DNC leadership. Podesta told reporters that Stone had warned him about the leaks in advance. “Stone pointed his finger at me, and said that I could expect some treatment that would expose me,” he told reporters Tuesday.

Intelligence officials believe that the Russian government is behind the hacks as part of a concerted effort to sway the election. Podesta said: “This level of meddling by a foreign power can only be aimed at boosting Donald Trump and should send chills down the spine of all Americans, regardless of political party.’’

Roger Stone is a known exaggerator and always makes himself as a key player in any political crisis, when he is a really a very secondary player at best. Republican political operatives for decades have kept a distance from Stone, because they don't trust him.

Julian Assange lives in a two tiny rooms in the Ecuadorian Embassy, it is a prison of his own making. He really doesn't have much power or control. His only power is Public Relations, and the image that he is all powerful. The Russian are just feeding Assange and Wikileaks the information..

They slant the perception of what the emails actually are and who wrote them. They should also use the term illegally hacked too!!

He helps tRump with the emails and tRump helps him get out of his mess with four counts of sexual offense: one of unlawful coercion, two of molestation and one of rape.
Just one dirt bag helping another....

isn't the Drumpfster the "Law and Order" candidate? Why is he supporting and enabling a fugitive from justice? I thought no one respects women more than him. Why isn't he lobbying for the extradition of Assange? I'm so very confused.....

Hate to tell the R's but no one cares about Hillary's emails. They are NOTHING compared to a sexual predator running for highest office in the land.
