Trump Warns Of Dark Conspiracy By Clinton, Media, And International Banks
Source: Talking Points Memo
Donald Trump on Thursday painted a picture of a global conspiracy of establishment figures hell-bent on derailing his campaign. At a campaign stop in West Palm Beach, Florida, in between attacking a wave of stories about his past inappropriate sexual behavior, Trump called the stories part of a concerted attempt to end his presidential bid.
There is nothing the political establishment will not do, no lie that they wont tell to hold their prestige and power at your expense, Trump said early in the rally. And that's what has been happening. The Washington establishment, and the financial and media corporations that fund it, exist for only one reason, to protect and enrich itself. The establishment has trillions of dollars at stake in this election.
Trump laid out a series of elaborate connections between political, corporate, and media elites whose vast conspiracy he claimed included shipping jobs overseas at the expense of American workers and using stories of his past sexual misconduct to prevent him from winning the presidency and robbing them of their power.
"It is a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class, stripped our country of its wealth and put the money in the pockets of a handful of large corporations and political entities. Just look at what the corrupt establishment has done to our cities like Detroit, Flint, Michigan and rural towns in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, and all cross our country. Take a look at what is going on. They've stripped away the towns bare and raided the wealth for themselves and taken our jobs away, out of our country, never to return unless I'm elected president," he said.

The good thing is that even with all the scary support behind Trump, Americans know better and it won't happen.
Think of this:
Banks (especially International) = "Jews"
Media = "Jews"
It's a not so vague, and mostly unsuccessful, attempt to emulate the Nazi takeover of Germany in the 1930s.
I generally don't like all the blithe "Hitler" comparisons on sites like this, but in this case it's the most evident.

(23,105 posts)He read up on Hitlers speeches for many years and now we are seeing the echoes if those. If russia were to somehow steal the election for him, think we'd see a hell of a lot more than echoes in his actions and policies. Scariest, meanest, most dangerous man to ever run for president. I always thought GW/Cheney were existential threats, and they were, but he's so much worse than them.

But man, every time he speaks it's like being in a time machine. I'm not surprised that racism is stilll alive and kicking in the U.S. Nor that so many of the tired old memes are still part of modern racist/sexist rhetoric. But Trump really talks like he's stuck in 1950's. Beyond being appalled and offended, I sometimes find myself thinking "Really? You can't come up with anything new? You have trot out that creaky old Jewish-bankers line like some rusted model-T?"

(9,760 posts)perhaps most prominently with the rise of Sarah Palin, is to make socially acceptable again, as it had been in a lot of cases in the 50s, blatant racist, misogynistic, nationalistic talk in public.
There seems to have been a lot of anger and resentment among reactionaries that they had been increasingly made to feel embarrassed when voicing their unsavory views outside their inner circles. Palin very purposely emboldened them to reject "political correctness", and they have been banding together with like-minded folks and gaining strength in numbers as a result.

Wiki: "Skousen was an anti-communist, he "ran the police department in exactly the same manner as the Communists in Russia operate their government." ... Skousen founded a group called the All-American Society, which Time magazine described in 1961 as an "exemplar of the far-right ultras."[16] Throughout the 1960s, Skousen was also admired by members and leaders of the John Birch Society, although members of the more mainstream conservative movement and the American Security Council[3] snubbed him out of fear that his controversial views would hurt the credibility of the conservative movement. ..."

And what is the "Washington establishment" if not the Republican party? Bought and owned by greedy oligarchs and corporations. A vast criminal enterprise that games the system and the tax code, suppresses the vote, buys elections. Trump fails to mention that he is part of that corrupt system.

Especially given the hypocrisy that he's (1) has been running as a republican and (2) he's always been a millionaire who cheats and swindles the little guy and the middle class and anyone else out of an honest day's pay.
Which is to say, when it comes to being right, I think actions speak louder than words. So, it's rather like he said "the earth is round" but is acting like it's flat. What's the point of his words being right when his actions are all wrong? Like the broken clock, he's not right because he's "working" just because of happenstance.

He'll forget about this in the next sentence he flings. Again, what does it matter if it's right? It means nothing to him, and all it does for us is make us go, "Hm, well, he hit the target there. But he fouled it all up by using poo to hit it."

(11,949 posts)So it makes sense that there is a conspiracy of international bankers to do in the common folks? Too bad for you that 'international bankers' and such language has been code for Jews for over 100 years and was perfected by Hitler before he had total power. After that he could just straight up rail against the Jews. It has been used the same way ever since.
That speech was right out of bannon's breitbart land and was as anti-Semitic as any speech given in this nation by a major figure since prior to WWII.
This election just entered a dangerous new chapter.
Sorry it make sense to you.

(11,949 posts)I read what you wrote. And disagree. There is nothing luckly correct in Donald Trump. If you agree with anything he says perhaps you should examine what you believe.
No disrespect intended and maybe we just disagree on some issues. But that speech would have been at home in Nurenberg in 1938.
All our problems are the fault of international bankers and the fat cats if we can just get rid them everything will be fine. That is what I heard.
