Giuliani Apologizes for 'Mistake' About Clinton and 9/11

Source: NBC News

Donald Trump surrogate and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani lobbed a new false charge against Hillary Clinton — that she claimed to have been in the city on 9/11. He admitted a few hours later that he was incorrect.

"But I heard her say one day that she was there that day," Giuliani said at a Trump rally in Ocala, Florida. "I was there that day. I don't remember seeing Hillary Clinton there."

Giuliani later recanted the assertion. "I made a mistake. I'm wrong and I apologize," Giuliani told The Associated Press Wednesday.

During the event in Florida, the former mayor acknowledged that Clinton was instrumental in getting benefits for people injured in the attacks.

I think it is time for Rudy to find a nice quiet retirement village and take up some harmless hobbies.

Oct 2016

my mother who I was caring for before she died in 2014 began to lose control over herself and gradually she became more argumentative, forgetful and would suddenly have massive and violent mood swings and it was probably due to her COPD so Guiliani could have a long term heath problem that he has kept hidden that has been causing alot of this.
Thats why I believe he should seek help if he isnt already and if he already is being treated then he should consider seeking treatment elsewhere if possible since its clearly not working very well.

She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. My Aunt was diagnosed with delirium, due to being WAY over medicated. She went completely delusional and never had the time to recover, before she died. My father had a brain tumor and went through some behavioral changes, although nothing as radical as my mom and aunt. So I've seen the spectrum.

Rudy getting a brain scan would probably be a highly recommended course of action, if only to definitely diagnose or rule out a pathology. He would then perhaps still have hope for some quality of life, down the road.

it is absolutely amazing how your party and especially your infantile "boy" running to be the president of the United States, has demeaned everyone on what happened that day for a political gain.

I have three imagines of that day dirt bag.

One, is the United (my former company) and American aircraft slamming into the buildings and then hearing about the aircraft that I worked on that night FLT 93 slamming into the ground and watching two building crashing down.

Two, watching human beings stand on the outside of the burning buildings, 1200 feet above the ground and jumping.

Three, crying

That dirt bag is empathy.

You and your "boy" and everyone associated with endorsing or unendorsing this racists bigot have no empathy.

You are absolutely disgusting, and your still a F***ing dirtbag

Meanwhile, Senator Clinton stayed IN washington dc, as an air traffic control flight path continued to show another airliner on a direct flight path to her location.

To stay in place was brave as shit of Clinton. At that time, they didn't know that airplane was forced down in a Pa. field by the passengers.

She did her job as a Senator, he walked around for photo ops wearing a mask.

Location of Office of Emergency Management headquarters

In September 2006, Village Voice writer and long-time Giuliani critic Wayne Barrett and Dan Collins, a senior producer for CBSNews.com, published The Grand Illusion: The Untold Story of Rudy Giuliani and 9/11,[6] one of the strongest reassessments of Giuliani's role in the events of 9/11. The book highlights his decision to locate the Office of Emergency Management headquarters (long-identified as a target for a terrorist attack) on the 23rd floor inside the 7 World Trade Center building, a decision that had been criticized at the time in light of the previous terrorist attack against the World Trade Center in 1993.[7][8]

The Office of Emergency Management was created to coordinate efforts between police and firefighters, but with the distraction of evacuating its headquarters, it was not able to conduct these efforts properly.[9]

In May 2007, Giuliani put responsibility for selecting the location on Jerome M. Hauer, New York City’s first Director of Emergency Management who had been appointed by Giuliani himself and had served under Giuliani from 1996 to 2000. Hauer has taken exception to that account in interviews and has provided FoxNews and New York Magazine with a memo demonstrating that he recommended a location in Brooklyn but was overruled by Giuliani. Television journalist Chris Wallace interviewed Giuliani on May 13, 2007, about his 1997 decision to locate the command center at the World Trade Center. Giuliani laughed during Wallace's questions and said that Hauer recommended the World Trade Center site and claimed that Hauer said that the WTC site was the best location. Wallace presented Giuliani a photocopy of Hauer's directive letter. The letter urged Giuliani to locate the command center in Brooklyn, instead of lower Manhattan, because "not as visible a target as buildings in lower Manhattan."[10][11][12][13][14] The February 1996 memo read, "The [Brooklyn] building is secure and not as visible a target as buildings in Lower Manhattan."[15]

Like many of you I have been to New York City. One thing that stands out about it, is it's so big you can't see everyone who's there on one day. So if she hadn't been at work hundreds of miles south of New York, which she was, there's no guarantee he'd have seen her.

He didn't make a mistake. He lied! He was the freaking Mayor of NY, she was the outgoing FLOTUS entertaining a Senate run from that very state. If she was in town, her people would have notified the NYPD and mayor's office, out of courtesy, and for no other reason, to arrange security.

He knew she was not there that day the instant he said what he said.
