Newsweek reporter Kurt Eichenwald tweeted Friday that a negative story about Donald Trump was temporarily down Thursday night after the papers website was attacked by hackers.
Eichenwald reported Thursday that a company controlled by Trump took steps to invest in Cuba in the 1990s and took business trips to Havana, a violation of the U.S. embargo. But late Thursday, Newsweeks website went down entirely.
At first, Eichenwald announced that that website went down because of high traffic. But half an hour later, he said the site was attacked by hackers.
Last night, @Newsweek crashed from flood of ppl trying 2 read story about Trump breaking Cuban embargo. Its back. https://t.co/BLWD7ga1BZ

News: The reason ppl couldnt read #TrumpInCuba piece late yesterday is that hackers launched a major attack on Newsweek after it was posted.

But, if Putin drops the curtain, they will all get caught! Keep up the pressure and we may have a roundup.
