Jeb Bush: Not Voting Clinton or Trump Would Send Message

Source: NBC News

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Jeb Bush has no qualms saying he won't vote for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton in November and now he's suggesting other voters making that same decision would send a clear message.

"Well, if everybody didn't vote, that would be a pretty powerful political statement, wouldn't it?" the former GOP presidential candidate told reporters Thursday evening.

Bush denied a report in the New York Daily News that he seemed to encourage attendees at a private lunch earlier this week in New York City to support Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson.

"I haven't made up my mind what I'm going to do — I'm going to vote and I've made it clear I'm not going to vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton," Bush told reporters. "I'm not derelict in my civic duties, I'm going to vote, but the presidency is a place where, for whatever reason, I'm not comfortable supporting either party's nominee."

How about allowing the people to vote and have their votes honestly
counted to send a message? This country and the world is still feeling
the effects of Florida 2000.

Without Florida 2000 we would not have had:

9/11
War in Afghanistan
War in Iraq
ISIS
The BP Oil Spill
Ohio 2004
Spying/wiretapping
Torture
Big Branch Mine Explosion .... w put the head of Massey Energy in charge of mine safety
Dick Cheney shooting a man in the face after drinking w/no charges
Turning a surplus into a deficit
A kill of >100,000 wild run Pacific Salmon
Dept. of Homeland Security
230,000 vets w/Traumatic Brain Injuries
22 Vets a day who commit suicide

And God knows what else.

The repukes have always tried to convince Democrats that their vote won't count/doesn't matter, but every single repuke will run to the polls and pull that (R) lever. I guess he is truly stupid enough to think this will convince the Democrats to stay home. Hopefully, his message will reach his followers, who by all accounts are dumber than he is, if that's possible. We've got to talk to all our family members, friends, neighbors and strangers and convince them NOW is the time to vote more than ever before. If you are able, offer rides, give them instructions as to where they go to vote ~ they've changed our polling place three times in the 12 years we've lived in this city, so we're left driving around looking for the proper place ~ some people don't have that luxury ~ people with children, people that work two or three jobs, old people who don't drive and depend on others kindness just to get to the grocery. My husband and I (we're both in our 70's) put up a sign at the grocery, at the senior center, at churches that will allow us, that we will take as many as possible to the polls. Do what you can to make sure those you know have the proper ID and go to the proper polling place. I'm With HER

We all know Jebby hates Drumpf and wants him to lose. And we know that he knows Hillary is the only one left that can get that done. I suspect jebby will vote for Hillary and then deny it.

Given the relatively cordial relationship that exists between the Clinton's and H.W and Barbara I really can't see how the family wouldn't vote for Hillary over Trump.

This was the guy with name recognition, a lot of campaign donors, and a lot of campaign cash who got thumped by DONALD TRUMP.

I have an idea for a different message. How about you join a party that would never allow a man like Trump to be it's standard bearer. Let's send a message to the party where out of 19 candidates, NOBODY could beat Donald Trump.

So yeah, I'm not likely to take advice from a loser like you that is in a party like the Republican party.

The next president is either going to be Hillary or Trump. As President Obama said the other day: If you don't vote you are helping Trump. If you vote for a third party candidate who has no chance of winning, you are helping Trump. I sure hope folks on the left get this message. A Trump Supreme Court will make young folks lives a living hell for most of their lives. With Hillary we continue to move left and can fight for our issues with a friendly government.
