Trump threatens to bring Gennifer Flowers to debate
Source: The Hill
Donald Trump on Saturday threatened to bring a woman that Bill Clinton had an extramarital affair with when he debates Hillary Clinton.
If dopey Mark Cuban of failed Benefactor fame wants to sit in the front row, perhaps I will put Jennifer Flowers (sic) right alongside of him! Trump initially tweeted. Shortly after, Trump deleted the tweet and reposted it with the correct spelling of Gennifer Flowers's first name. Bill Clinton testified under oath in 1998 that he had a sexual affair with Flowers.
Trump was responding to billionaire Mark Cuban, a Hillary Clinton supporter who frequently slams Trump. Cuban on Thursday said he accepted an invitation from Clinton to sit in the front row at Mondays presidential debate.
Trump's public reference to Bill Clinton's extramarital affairs will likely roil the presidential race just two days before the first debate. Onlookers have speculated about whether the unpredictable GOP presidential nominee would bring up Flowers and other names, such as Monica Lewinsky and Juanita Broaddrick, to Hillary Clinton's face in the debates.

I have no doubt, that HRC is a lady, who has some wonderful bon mots saved up especially for the likes of Donald Trump. She will basically dismiss any Trump vulgarities by saying something like, "I refuse to get down in the slimey mud with you Mr Trump. I prefer to follow the advice of First Lady Michele Obama. 'When you go low; we go high.' I'm here to tell the American people how together, we can build a better America for everyone." And then she'll launch into some policy about equal pay for women, or paid family leave.

(783 posts)Notice he tries to induce other people to take physical action. He doesn't get his hands dirty himself. I suspect he would not be able to put up much of a physical fight against anyone as an out of shape 70 year old. He might even be afraid to take on a relatively younger opponent like Clinton
-- But wouldn't it be priceless if he did come at her onstage and she whacked him good? He can't risk that. He won't try anything physical. At worst he might approach her in a threatening manner and stand over her at close range to demonstrate his greater height -- his only obvious advantage.
Trump's game is about intimidation, at least at this age. He might have beat up weaker kids in his school days, but even then he probably would have relied on being with a gang. Sorry, group. When they're rich white kids it's a group; Poor kids have gangs; I gotta remember to keep the terminology straight.
Then again it wouldn't hurt to have some body guards nearby behind the curtain. They'll probably have Secret Service anyway, wouldn't y'think?

This way the folks who are currently funding the RNC and yes they are pushing Trump 100% the RNC guide Trump and his campaign of speaking to a persons fear. Trump and RNC are talking to an angry population and not dealing with the facts and whats really shifting away from the truth are Trump backers values and norms. Much of the educated elite has either backed off from promoting Trump and the RNC or moving over to Clinton but whats left are angry people many who are living a life of pain and suffering that are looking for somewhere to focus that pain. However they don't see what is going on around them. Just watch Fox news for a few minutes any night for a status update.
Next few months are going to be exciting as our current social hierarchy is under duress. What will come from this?

(1,493 posts)I just can't, for the life of me understand why Hillary is back up where she was several weeks ago in the polls, especially after the terrible week tRump has had. It makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever.
And since the expectation is for tRump to do poorly at the debates - i.e., no expectations -- I suspect the media will be fawning all over him for not barfing all over himself. I suspect it won't be analyzed as a real debate should be analyzed, but as a popularity contest and who "connects" more with the American people. Slick con Don has this way of saying stupid shit that a lot of people seem to love.

(764 posts)My be paranoid but I think one use of polls is to make us think the race is closer than it really is.
I am less worried about Trump being pres than the fact some of my friends and neighbors think he is a good choice. What else might they vote for? I think Hillary can come up with a guest list that will draw more attention than Trump's -- okay, I'll say it, pathetic -- choice of Bill's old girlfriends. It is Trump that can't handle any kind of provocation--with his short fuse and over-inflated ego. I'm thinking any advantage is all Clinton's.

Actually, he's not going to be able to think straight no matter what happens. He throws out a couple of zingers, Hillary ignores them and looks presidential, and he deflates into the Donald we all know and love.
And then the pundits declare him the "winner," as they have been instructed to by those who sign their paychecks.

Hillary loves Bill, and demonstrated strength in moving past the betrayal of trust - the decision was hers to make - I am sure she and Bill had a discussion that included every emotion in the book...Hillary decided to forgive Bill, to see him through his surgery , but, she will never forget ..that's just how it is sometimes...
