Omaha man sentenced to 90 to 100 years in prison for rapes

A serial rapist likely will spend the rest of his life in prison under a sentence handed down Monday.

Douglas County District Judge Mark Ashford sentenced Christopher Ennis, 30, to 90 to 100 years in prison.

Under state law, which cuts sentences in half, Ennis must serve 45 years before he is eligible for parole.

Ennis attacked as many as seven women over three years as the women walked alone in northeast Omaha, officials said.

Though, I concede you do make a good point.

Given that I only had time for a 2 minute search after I saw your reply, I only found one case of a serial pedophile that got a slap on the wrist.
The other cases were where white rapists (not serial rapists) were given ridiculously light sentences.
