NLRB to take testimony Monday in Greenbrier County

LEWISBURG, W.Va. — The National Labor Relations Board will conduct a public hearing Monday in Lewisburg on alleged labor violations at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte.
The allegations are being brought by registered nurses who are members of National Nurses Organizing Committee/National Nurses United.
According to the labor group, Greenbrier Valley Medical Center’s parent company, Community Health Systems, has committed unfair labor practices to weaken the union.
A hearing on alleged similar conduct at another CHS hospital, the Bluefield Medical Center, took place in August.
