Donald Trump Jr. makes 'gas chamber' reference in criticizing media

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump Jr. made a reference to "warming up the gas chamber" while complaining about how the treatment his father has received by the political press compares to coverage of Hillary Clinton.

"The media has been her number one surrogate in this. Without the media, this wouldn't even be a contest. But the media has built her up. They've let her slide on every indiscrepancy, on every lie, on every DNC game trying to get Bernie Sanders out of the thing," Trump Jr. told Philadelphia-based conservative talk radio host Chris Stigall on Wednesday.

"I mean, if Republicans were doing that, they'd be warming up the gas chamber right now. It's a very different system -- there's nothing fair about it," Trump Jr. added.

If it was not for the media Trump would be losing this election by a much larger margin. Trump and his family is allowed to lie everyday. Just yesterday Ivanka Trump was able to lie and claim that all Trump employees had paid family leave. It was not pointed out, during the interview, that a number of Trump hotels do not offer paid family leave. Also, she was not asked when the Trump Organization started providing any form of paid family leave. The date is important because in 2016 New York state passed a law that made paid family leave the law of the state. The day before Ivanka lied about the Trump Organization, Donald Trump claimed Hillary Clinton did not have a paid family leave plan. Not only does Hillary Clinton have a paid leave plan her plan in more generous than Trump's in that it gives 12 weeks of paid leave and covers both men and women. There are many other lies that Trump has made in the last few days including the idea that Hillary Clinton is running an issue free campaign. Hillary Clinton has outlined numerous plans during her campaign.
