Ex-Fox News host Gretchen Carlson settles sexual-harassment lawsuit for $20 million

Source: Business Insider

Former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson settled her sexual-harassment lawsuit against former Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes, 21st Century Fox announced Tuesday morning.

As part of the agreement, Carlson agreed not to bring further lawsuits against other network executives, the report said.

21st Century Fox also issued a public apology to Carlson.

Because she didn't go public until she was notified that her contract wasn't being renewed, you assume that she would not have if it was. That's a fairly large assumption and suggests you might be LOOKING for a reason to withhold sympathy, and instead, find her "contemptible".

I can't help but wonder if you wouldn't have been more charitable in your assumptions if she'd not worked at Fox.

regular Fox viewers will be unaware of these events and worry about Hillary's emails.

other such crap.

Fox News is a cancer on America ..... I know because a friend of mine got death threats
because of lies that Sean Hannity was putting out about Ohio's Sec. of State and ACORN.

BTW calling Florida 2000 for w bush caused lots of problems too.

can't imagine what Ailes and the old boys club thought of her behind closed doors.

Hope women stop watching Fox and any advertisers who sell products meant for women peddle their wares elsewhere. Pretty obvious what Fox thinks of women. I doubt just firing Ailes and settling a few lawsuits really changed all that much.

I am sure there is a gag order and that she is not planning to go out of her way to help her sisters.

Hopefully, her actions have already caused changes at the network, but after the O'Reilly scandal a few years ago didn't change anything, I doubt this will.
