I watched and read headliners without a mention. Our national media outlets do not deploy journalists, or reporters to the scene of many crimes against the value of a "free press". It's entertainment and ratings, without any measure of content and quality.

Don't people realize it may simply be pictures from two different times? Walk into a football stadium at 7am and there may be 60 people there; come back at 7pm and there may be 60,000.
But, many on this board would rather depict this as another proof of the right-wing media conspiracy against everything Democratic.

Every peer-reviewed academic study in the past several decades has indicated a liberal bias in the mainstream media. Using terms like M$M and Corporate Media doesn't change reality.
Trump is getting coverage because he is making news- and much of it is hurting him.

Why didn't CNN cover Trump and the empty church? Because it didn't happen except in a misleading post at DU.

Don't care to argue the point, but it makes us sound a little like the Glenn Beck crowd to be constantly griping that there are huge media conspiracies against us. We are winning, and most MSM coverage of Trump that I see presents him as a dishonest, racist buffoon.

Just imagine Hillary going into a not-full church like that? The media would be all over her for not connecting with the people etc. Now cue to MSNBC to have Chuckie and others truth'splain what it really means and how tRump is showing his softer side blah blah blah. I swear the media spends more time covering this squawking yam than does faux noise. Why is STFU donny doing so well in the polls? Because the media not only gives him a free ride - they have been propping up this clown to make it a horse race. As much as I detest everything about STFU donny, the media's complicity makes me wretch. That is what is truly disappointing about this whole election.

I would hope that our side is infinitely better than Trump's, at every level, including the representation of reality. Stories which exaggerate the positives about Hillary's campaign, or the negatives about Trump's reek of desperation - They make me think of poll-denying Trump supporters.

I understand the importance of feel-good news, but there's a difference between what is and what we all wish it was - that's all.
